A 16th century Tuscan walnut cassone with moulded rectangular top, carved central cartouche on the facade with acanthus carved border flanked by carved figures as terms and with a deep gadrooned lower moulding and paw feet. This is a very nice example of a 16th century casapanca or cassone with an exceptional colour and depth of patina.
