Rodolfo Meli Italian, born Rignano sull'Arno 1948. Rodolfo Meli lives and works in the heart of Florence on the Arno river. His work is subtle and sensitive, with a colour palette referring back to Renaissance Florence. His work often has a kind of theatrical atmosphere, a delicate palette of colours, and a soft texture. The references to classical antiquity are strong, but in a way that appeals to the contemporary eye.
