5904 An 18th or early 19th century Japanese carved stag horn netsuke, modelled as a sage with his large crook or walking stick, and a long thin beard. Beautifully patinated, with traces of fine engraved decoration and following the curvature of the horn, this is a lovely example of a well used and loved netsuke.
