5095 A very fine quality 19th century Chinese carved and joined rosewood occasional table.  With rectangular framed top above a waisted frieze with simple shallow relief carved decoration and square section supports with pierced carved brackets, all supported by a joined stand with a further two platforms and a more organic design than the upper section. The feet carved with stylised masks. A highly refined and elegant piece of Chinese hardwood furniture, constructed with the uniquely precise joinery that high quality Chinese cabinet making is famous for.
